About the RoleOur client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their friendly finance team of six. You'll play a key role in managing the company's credit control processes, ensuring timely payments and maintaining strong customer relationships.Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment
- Chase outstanding debts via phone, email, and letter
- Allocate payments and reconcile accounts
- Work closely with internal departments to resolve queries
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activity
- Prepare reports on debtor balances and aged debt
- Assist with month-end processes as required
- Proven experience in a credit control or similar finance role
- Strong working knowledge ofMicrosoft Excel(VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
- Familiarity withSage(training will be provided)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
