Portfolio Payroll is partnering with a highly respected manufacturing organisation that is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist on a18-month fixed-term contract. Working as part of a small, close-knit payroll team you'll take ownership of delivering a smooth, reliable payroll service while ensuring employees receive clear, timely support with their benefits and pay-related queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the full payroll cycle from start to finish.
  • Maintaining accurate employee data, updating records and processing changes with precision.
  • Handling pay variations such as leave, absences and adjustments.
  • Responding to payroll queries in a professional, supportive manner.
  • Spotting and escalating issues around compliance, data quality or irregularities.
  • Keeping payroll documentation organised, secure and audit-ready.
  • Administering employee benefits, including enrolments, leavers, changes and transfers.
  • Supporting wider confidential HR and payroll administration when needed.
