RM Recruit is working in partnership with a leading institution in the education sector to recruit an experienced Interim Corporate Accountant for a period of 6 months. This exciting role will be instrumental in managing the budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of fee income, numbers, and related funding. You will provide vital financial insight and analysis to support long-term planning and operational decision-making across departments.

Main duties include:

• Lead preparation of fee budgets and forecasts
• Oversee income related reporting and scenario planning
• Ensure full reconciliation and audit readiness for income
• Collaborate closely with planning teams and attend executive-level meetings
• Interpret financial impacts from policy changes and funding developments
• Play a key role in 5-year financial planning models

This position is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys both data-led strategy and stakeholder engagement, with the added benefit of working just one day per week on-site, offering a highly flexible hybrid model.

We are looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with substantial experience in management accounting, ideally within a large or complex organisation. Candidates who are QBE will be considered. You will bring advanced Excel and reporting skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate financial data into strategic recommendations.
