Finance Assistant Required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Finance Assistant required for a Facilities Management company based in Stoke. This is working on a large commercial site and will be reporting to the Commercial Manager. This is initially a temporary role however could lead to a long term position for the right candidate. Must have financial experience for this role.

The working hours for this role are 7am - 3.30pm, 8am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5pm depending on preference. (40 hours per week).

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with off site Financial and Commercial departments as required
• Take receipt of invoice, check validity of invoice (i.e. Does it match the order in description, value and order number references), confirm works have been completed / goods have been received, obtain management authorisation to process, enter invoice details onto Commitment Accounting database.
• Investigation of invoice queries as required.
• Action Supplier / Subcontractor invoice and payment queries, liaising with Managers / Supervisors / Other Staff where required.
• Provide weekly / monthly / annual financial information as requested.

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working in financial administration
• Strong computer skills - Excel & Word
• Excellent communication skills
