You'llstart studying towards your Chartered Accountant qualificationimmediately and within the first couple of months you'll have takenyour first exams - But don't worry you won't be alone; we'll bewith you every step of theway.

As a member of our audit team, you willconduct a thorough, risk-focused review on a range of client'sfinancial records, processes, and controls. You'll play a crucialrole in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, whilstbuilding trust and confidence amongstakeholders.

You'll make an impactby:

  • Becoming a key member of our team fromday one, you will have the opportunity to engage in client workvery quickly, initially as part of a larger team before taking onindividual responsibility forprojects.
  • You'll be given ownership of tasks whichwill prepare you to supervise those teams in thefuture.
  • Working with a wide variety of clients,ranging from owner managed businesses, through to large listedgroups as well as charities, pension schemes and othernot-for-profitorganisations.

You'll predominately be office based orat a client site. This gives you the opportunity to buildrelationships with your colleagues and get the development andsupport needed in the early stages of yourcareer. The skills and experiences yougain during your apprenticeship will not only benefit you now butlay the foundation for a successful and rewardingcareer.

What we are lookingfor:

We think passion, personality andoriginality are important to thrive at RSM. To be considered forthis opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience willinclude:

  • A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 ALevels or an equivalent level 3 qualification, or 104 UCAS pointsacross 4 Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish LeavingCertificate (Higher Level) and an obtained/predicted honoursdegree.
  • Effective verbal and writtencommunication skills are crucial to convey information clearly andconcisely for successful collaboration with team members andclients.
  • Individuals who methodically analyse andinterpret data in order to solveproblems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, whichenable you to build and maintain working relationships withcolleagues and clients and remain calm underpressure.
  • An interest in business and commerce withthe ability to demonstrate a commercial outlook throughorganisational and time managementskills.
  • Must be willing to travel to client sitesand other offices asrequired.
