Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk / Purchase Ledger Clerk Location: Stoke-on-Trent Job Type: Full-Time Temporary Start Date: ASAP SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a ongoing temporary Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger assistant. You must be immediately available to be considered for this opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Process high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and on time Match, batch, and code invoices Reconcile supplier statements Deal with supplier queries and resolve discrepancies Maintain the purchase ledger and ensure records are up to date Assist with month-end close and reporting Requirements: Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good knowledge of Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle) Able to manage workload and meet deadlines Good communication and problem-solving skills
