A new summer family music festival featuring local artists and a silent disco is to take place across four venues in Stoke Town.

Organised by the Quarter - Stoke Town Music Festival - will take place during the August Bank Holiday weekend - Sunday 24 and Monday 25.

Spode-based the Quarter will host local bands such as Adele and Andy, The Hairy Bartenders, Sounds Familiar and KMK on the opening day, and on the Bank Holiday Monday the popular restaurant will also hold a family silent disco.

On the same day, Stoke Minster will welcome families for a Disney-themed singalong and show choir performance.

Elsewhere, The Glebe will be holding a Pirate Day on the Sunday, as well as a BBQ, and family fun activities, whilst The Kingsway will have live music featuring Dan Eyden.
