In Georgian England, the women of the Dashwood family are transplanted from their grand home to a modest country cottage after their inheritance is lost.

The family's older daughters; the cautious, conscientious Elinor, and the fiery, headstrong Marianne, each attract suitors amid the confining societal expectations of 18th-century England.

This new take on Jane Austen's iconic novel is a charming and witty story of love and sisterhood starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles as Elinor and Marianne. Caitríona Balfe, George MacKay, and Fiona Shaw feature in supporting roles.
