Weather Forecast Overview for Stoke-on-Trent The upcoming week in Stoke-on-Trent presents a predominantly dry but chilly spell with sporadic bouts of wind. The skies will be consistently partly cloudy, with temperatures generally hovering around the low single digits. While the chance of precipitation remains low at the start of the week, there is a gradual increase by the weekend. Comparatively, this week is colder than the previous period, which experienced milder temperatures with more sunshine.

Monday: Expect a partly cloudy day with temperatures ranging from a high of 5°C to a low of 3°C. The humidity will be rather high at 80%, but with no chance of rain, though a brisk wind speed of 16mph could bite.

Tuesday: Tuesday continues the pattern of partly cloudy skies, with a similar high of 5°C but dropping to a frosty 0°C at night. Humidity will slightly decrease to 79%, accompanied by a gentler breeze peaking at 10mph.

Wednesday: A chillier day with a maximum temperature of only 3°C and a nighttime low of -1°C. Humidity is expected to rise to 85%, and wind conditions will match Monday’s briskness at 16mph.

Thursday: Thursday sees an increase in wind speed to 28mph and the potential for minor precipitation at 19%. Temperatures will peak at 5°C and dip to around 0°C overnight, alongside particularly high humidity of 87%.

Friday: Look for another partly cloudy day, with winds easing slightly to 17mph. The chance of precipitation further increases to 29%, with temperatures varying from 4°C down to a chilly -3°C by night.

Saturday: A day of clear skies makes Saturday the best of the bunch for outdoor activities. However, it remains cold, with temperatures maxing at just 1°C and dropping to -3°C at night. Humidity remains at 80% with winds at a calmer 13mph.

Sunday: Sunday reverts to partly cloudy conditions and is the coldest day of the week, with a high of -1°C and a low of -4°C. Winds may be gusty at 22mph, and there's a 26% chance of precipitation.

Commuting Advice: Given the cold conditions and potential for strong winds, it's advisable to dress warmly, particularly in the morning and evening. The wind could make conditions feel cooler, and slick roads might pose issues later in the week due to low temperatures.

Advice for Weekend Plans: With clear skies on Saturday, it's an opportune day for outdoor endeavours, albeit with warm attire. Consider indoor activities on Sunday to avoid the chill, and be prepared for possible morning ice or light precipitation.
