Woman in her 70s suffers head injury in multi-vehicle collision in Stoke-on-Trent

A woman in her 70s has suffered a head injury following a collision involving multiple vehicles in Stoke-on-Trent.

Emergency services were called to Esperanto Way, Smallthorne, just before 10am yesterday (15 January).

A bus, a silver Toyota Yaris and a blue Skoda Octavia were found involved in a collision. 

A woman, in her 70s, the driver of the Toyota, was checked over by paramedics at the scene. 

The bus driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, the Skoda driver and a male passenger were uninjured. 

All drivers remained at the scene to assist police with inquiries.
