My World: An Exhibition of Children's Paintings

These are the paintings of 60 young local artists who attend the Puffin Art Studio in Newcastle-under-Lyme. 

The entry is free and it is open all weekend 10.30am-4pm. 

The Exhibition is open till 26th February.

Friday 17 February - Lord Mayor's Charity Football Tournament

Stoke-on-Trent Lord Mayor, Councillor Faisal Hussain is hosting a charity football tournament to help raise money for Brighter Futures and The Hubb Foundation on Friday 17 February at Fenton Manor Sports Complex.

Councillor Faisal Hussain, Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent said, "My charity football tournament will be a fantastic opportunity to raise funds for my chosen charities in a fun and entertaining way. I am encouraging people in Stoke-on-Trent to enter a team to help raise money for good local causes."

Saturday 18 February - Dressed to Kill Live

Dressed to Kill, the world's longest running tribute to Kiss, will be appearing at Eleven, Sandyford on Saturday 18 February. 

Under 18's welcome with a parent - 1 under 18 per parent.

Saturday 18 February - Awakening Yoga

Awaken your mind and body to a new level and learn how to practice meditation in motion.

Agenda

  • Introduction, teachings and Q&A (10-15 min)
  • Breathing (5 min)
  • Mudras (shambavi and kechari), energy alignment and prayers (5 min)
  • Asanas - meditation in motion practice (50 min)
  • Relaxation (10 min)
  • Closing prayers

The purpose of this yoga lineage is to guide you toward cultivating a conscious connection, integration and awakening of the body, mind, heart and spirit.

Sunday 19 February - "Dressed to Kill" under 18s Valentine's Party

The Golden Crew presents the "Take Me Out" Under 18s Valentine's Party!

Music by DJ KBS, Jay Costello and a guest DJ. 

Music includes R&B, hip hop, dancehall, UK funky, grime, acrobats, trap and drill.

FREE drinks all night.
