Potteries Folk Club | Fenton Town Hall | Fri 10 Apr
Ben Robertson will be this month's guest at The Potteries Folk Club at Fenton Town Hall on Friday 10 April.
The Potteries Folk Club said: "Ben Robertson is a UK-based fingerstyle guitarist and singer who proved to be a great success opening the evening concert at the 1st Fenton Folk Day in September 2025, so we are and you will be delighted that we are be able to invite him back for a full guest night night."
Tickets are available online and cost £13.70 (including booking fees).
Steven K. Beattie Book Signing | Vellichor Books | Hanley | Sat 11 Apr
Stoke-on-Trent's incoming Poet Laureate, Steven K. Beattie, will be at Vellichor Books on Saturday 11 April for a poetry reading and book signing event
The event is free to attend and will take place between 12pm and 3pm.
Vellichor Books said: "We are welcoming Stoke on Trent Poet Laureate to be, Steven K. Beattie, to Vellichor Books this Saturday.
"Come meet Steven, hear some live poetry, and get a book signed. It's the National Year of Reading, so you have no excuse not to."

Honey Box Live | The Rigger | Newcastle-under-Lyme | Sun 12 Apr
Honey Box Live will bring Series 9 to a close with a special Music Awards celebration show at The Rigger in Newcastle-under-Lyme on Sunday 12 April, featuring standout artists recognised at the Music Awards of Staffordshire and Cheshire.
The final episode of the series will showcase Eve Buckley, winner of Best Solo Act, Sarah Riches, finalist for Best Solo Act, and K-Estate, nominees for the Best New Act Award.
"Series 9 has been a huge celebration of the creativity and talent we have in this region," said Peter Herbert of Honey Box Live.
"From outdoor shows at Keele to venues across the Midlands, we've had the chance to work with an incredible mix of artists and partners.
"Bringing the final show back home to The Rigger for a Music Awards special feels like the perfect way to close the series and celebrate the artists who are making such an impact on the local music scene."
Doors open at 4pm and the live broadcast begins at 5pm. Tickets are available online for £11 (including booking fee).
World of Wedgwood Artisan Market | Barlaston | Sun 12 Apr
The World of Wedgwood Artisan Market will return on Sunday 12 April from 10am to 4pm.
There will be handcrafted gifts, art and homewares alongside street food and sweet treats.
The organisers said: "Join us for a joyful celebration of the very best local makers, bakers and creators, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the World of Wedgwood. "
There is free entry to the market and free parking is available.

Rapunzel | Mitchell Arts Centre | Hanley | Sun 12 Apr
Immersion Theatre will be presenting their production of Rapunzel at the Mitchell Arts Centre on Sunday 12 April at 1.30pm and 4.30pm.
The Mitchell Arts Centre said: "Following the success of The Little Mermaid, award-winning Immersion Theatre proudly presents a hair-larious and exciting retelling of the family favourite, complete with a laugh out loud script, catchy songs, audience interaction and stunning production value including dazzling costumes and animated scenery.
"With magic and mayhem throughout, this is one hair-raising adventure the family won't want to miss!"
The show is recommended for children aged four and over. Tickets are available online at £13 for adults, £11.50 for children and £45 for a family ticket (including booking fees).
