Dial M for Murder | Stoke Rep Theatre | Thur 12 Feb to Sat 14 Feb

An amateur production of 'Dial M for Murder' will be taking place at the Stoke Rep Theatre this weekend.

Stoke Rep Theatre said: "Step into an exciting world of suspense with this timeless classic play.

"This masterful tale set in a classy 1950s London apartment, weaves a gripping narrative of betrayal, intrigue and murder."

Tickets are available to book online for £17.25 or £14.01 for the Saturday matinee performance (including booking fees).

Funderworld | Hanley | Thur 12 Feb to Sun 1 Mar

Funderworld, a family-run mobile theme park, is returning to Stoke-on-Trent City Centre this February half-term. 

The organisers said: "The event which takes over the location usually used for Winter Wonderland will be bigger, brighter and better than ever with the return to Stoke of the Crazy Mouse, a full-size Roller Coaster, several extreme white-knuckle rides including the 50m Airmaxx the fastest ride travelling in the UK!"

Funderworld is free to enter and will be open from Thursday 12 February to Sunday 22 February and again from Thursday 26 February to Sunday 1 March.

Unlimited riding tickets are available to pre-book, or can be purchased at the venue. Tokens will also be available to purchase.

The Potteries Folk Club | Fenton Town Hall | Fri 13 Feb

The Potteries Folk Club will be presenting Tom McConville at Fenton Town Hall on Friday 13 February from 7:45pm

The workshop begins at 1pm and runs until 3.30pm.

The organisers said: "Tom's musical journey started in the North East folk clubs in the early 70s.

"Newcastle's thriving Irish scene provided the opportunity, with his first band, to support Sean McGuire, John Doonan, The Fureys, Boys of the Lough and even a lock-in with The Dubliners.

"Tom still credits the legendary Sean McGuire, the fiddle genius from Belfast, for teaching him his bowing techniques."

Tickets are available online and cost £12.

Cinderella | The Mitchell Arts Centre | Hanley | Fri 13 Feb and Sat 14 Feb

'The Ultimate Adult Panto' will return for it's 5th Anniversary Tour at the Mitchell Arts Centre this weekend.

The Mitchell Arts Centre said: "Well if you've ever wondered what a pantomime cast would get up to if there were no children in the audience…then you're half way there!

"Add to that a nail-biting audience vote for the one cast member who must complete a savage drinking challenge throughout the show (as the other performers do their best to keep the story running to its 'happy ending'!) and you can see why absolutely anything could happen…and it probably will!"

Tickets are available online for £25 (including booking fee).

Valentine's Night | SIXTOWNS Distillery | Hanley | Sat 14 Feb

SIXTOWNS will be hosting a Valentine's Night celebration on Saturday 14 February with live music throughout the evening.

SIXTOWNS said: "Celebrate Valentine's Night at SIXTOWNS with live music, great drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere all evening.

Castle Artisan Market and Fun Dog Show | Newcastle-under-Lyme | Sun 15 Feb

The first Castle Artisan Market of 2026 will take place on Sunday 15 February from 10am to 3pm.

The organisers said: "Landing the day after Valentine's Day, this feel-good February market is the perfect excuse to fall back in love with local creativity, independent makers, and a brilliant day out on The Stones.

"Whether you're treating yourself, grabbing a belated Valentine's gift, or just soaking up the atmosphere, we've got something special waiting for you."

There will also be a dog show in aid of local rescue Greyhound Gap.
