Longton Exchange Shopping Centre's much-anticipated festive light switch on event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 25 November from 1pm.

The festivities will kick off with a showcase of local talent as various community groups descend on the centre to perform for the crowds.

A face painter will also be on hand to add a splash of colour and creativity to the faces of eager participants, while an engaging Christmas trail will wind its way through the centre.

Entry and parking for the markets on 25 and 26 November is completly free (Castle Artisan).

Castle Artisan Events and Re-Form Heritage are bringing the best local makers, bakers and creators to Middleport Pottery all weekend.
