1920s Casino Night | The Travellers Rest | Stanley | Fri 29 May
A charity casino night will be hosted at The Travellers Rest, Tompkin Road, Stanley, from 6pm on Friday 29 May.
The orgnaisers said: "Get ready for an unforgettable evening of glitz, glamour, and Gatsbylevel excitement as we transform the venue into a 1920s speakeasy casino.
"Think velvet, feathers, pearls, sharp suits, and the thrill of the tables."
Tickets are available for £5 and all proceeds from ticket sales will go to charity.
Clay Workshop | The Indi Club | Sneyd Green | Sat 30 May
A local artist will be running a children's clay workshop at The Indi Club on Saturday 30 May from 10am to 12pm.
Project Indi said: "Join local artist Alice Thatcher for a creative clay workshop, plus arts and crafts and an oatcake brunch.
"This event welcomes children up to the age of 16 and their families. Refreshments will be provided."
Tickets are available online for £5 (parents and carers go free).

Etruria Canals Festival | Etruria | Sat 30 and Sun 31 May
Etruria Canals Festival will return on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2026 with garden themes activities including walkabout performances, creative activities and curated spaces.
Event Co-ordinator, Rebecca Frankenberg, from B. ARTS said: "Entering the Garden festival site in 1986 must have felt like entering another world of possibilities.
"We're hoping to give visitors a small taste of that with some of the curated spaces and activities across the weekend."
K-Pop Fever | Mitchell Arts Centre | Hanley | Sun 31 May
K-Pop Fever – The Ultimate Tribute to K-Pop Music will be at the Mitchell Arts Centre on Sunday 31 May at 2pm.
MAC said: "Bringing the unstoppable energy, dazzling choreography, and iconic style of the world's biggest music phenomenon, this spectacular tribute show celebrates the global K-pop explosion like never before.
"Featuring live vocals and high-energy performances, the show takes you on a non-stop journey through the greatest hits of your favourite K-pop idols."
Tickets are available online for £23 or £21 concession including booking fee.
