Voting is now open for Stoke City FC supporters to decide who should be named Stoke City's Player of the Month for December.

Four players have made the shortlist for the monthly award, which is sponsored by Connect Anything

Harry Souttar

On the back of starring for Australia at the 2022 World Cup, Harry Souttar's return to the side was crucial in the first three games of the month. The 24-year-old was a towering presence at the heart of the City defence, repelling many attacks that the backline faced. His defensive capabilities also came into their own when Bristol City were pushing for a late equaliser at Ashton Gate, but thanks to Souttar and co, City held on for the points.

Jordan Thompson

Jordan Thompson started every game for the Potters in the middle of the park during December and produced some standout performances. Bringing calmness to the ball, Thompson also added bite in the middle of the park and often set the Potters off on the counter. His retention of the ball was also key to City collecting five points from their four games.

Tyrese Campbell

After the World Cup break concluded, Tyrese Campbell restarted his campaign in fine form. After netting the equaliser against Cardiff City at the bet365 Stadium, it was the attacker's cross-shot which was diverted into the net by Liam Delap to put City ahead. The 23-year-old also reacted quickest when Rotherham United's Richard Wood's back pass lacked the pace to reach the 'keeper, and the City frontman fired the Potters level.

Liam Delap

Like Campbell, Liam Delap is another that restarted his season in the best possible way. After putting the Potters ahead against Cardiff City with a cool, instinctive finish, the on-loan youngster kept his head at Bristol City and produced a finish of quality to bring City level on the stroke of half-time.

Voting ends at 5pm on Thursday (12 January).
