From marketing to movies and theme parks, Sean Evans, from Kidsgrove, is the man behind 'Lifts Hills and Thrills', the UK's fastest growing theme park YouTube channel.

'Lifts Hills and Thrills' stemmed from Sean's online blog 'Back to the Movies' which he launched around ten years ago and is a hub of interviews with big names such as James Franco and Marlon Wayans, best known for his roles in White Chicks and Scary Movie.

Sean set up his YouTube channel only two years ago after he posted a video documenting Alton Towers' 'Wickerman' ride and it proved incredibly popular - the channel now has over 11,000 subscribers and he's been travelling the world ever since.

Sean has successfully turned his love of theme parks into a full-time job (Sean Evans).

Sean, 31, told Stoke Nub News: "I get to do what I love, which is films and theme parks, but I'm also travelling and experiencing new things.

"A lot of the people I've grown up watching and admiring I've had the opportunity to meet or speak to, it's a bit mental but it's a privilege to be part of it.

"The idea with everything that I've done is that if you've got a passion for something, chase it."

Despite Sean's fear of heights, he has ridden some of the tallest rollercoasters in the world, including Hyperion in Poland which stands at 252.6ft.

He said: "I have to do it to conquer my fear and everything you see in my video is a completely natural reaction."

Sean also attends the BAFTAs every year and said: "The first time I was hand selected to attend, I stood on the red carpet thinking why am I here? How have I got an invite? What am I doing on the red carpet surrounded by all these talented people? It's an incredible experience."

Next month, Sean will be fulfilling his childhood dream of staying at the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.

He said: "When I was a child I had a fascination with a certain hotel in Dubai and i would order the Emirates catalogue and look through it and think, I've got to stay there one day.

"In a month's time hopefully, I'll be going to that hotel that I've dreamed of staying in since I was a child.

"You can send me to any theme park in the world but that hotel is one step higher because I've grown up with the fascination - I just need to check it out."
