Rupeyal is a popular takeaway located in Biddulph town centre which has been serving the local community for nearly 24 years. 

The busy eatery, on Congleton Road in Biddulph, offers takeaway and delivery options as well as collection. 

The hard-working staff freshly cook a huge range of meals from all different cuisines, including burgers, kebabs, pizzas and a massive selection of currys. 

Mohammed Akhtar has owned the business for nearly 24 years and he prides himself on his clean premises (Rupeyal).

Stoke Nub News visited the popular eatery to catch up with owner, Mohammed Akhtar, and hear how he runs a successful business in a busy town centre location. 

Mohammed took over the business nearly 24 years ago and he prides himself on his clean premises which has earned him a prestigious five-star hygiene rating. 

Mohammed said: "We've only got a small space to work with but we keep it clean and organised.

"All of our produce is locally sourced, everything is freshly made to order and we cater for many different tastes."

Rupeyal has nearly 4,000 five-star reviews and an average score of 4.3 on Just Eat (Rupeyal).

One happy customer wrote: "We only use this company for takeaways, great food and always on time" whilst another said "Very tasty food and lots of it. The peshwari naan bread was the best we've ever tasted. Would definitely use again."

Mohammed continued: "People don't come out as much since COVID but our delivery and takeaway options are very popular. 

"We would just like to thank everyone for supporting us over the last 24 years and wish all our loyal customers a merry Christmas and happy new year."

Rupeyal is open seven days a week and serves a range of dishes for various tastes (Nub News).

Rupeyal is open 4.30pm-12.20pm Sunday to Thursday and 4.30pm-1.40am Friday and Saturday.
