Two men jailed after cannabis grow worth nearly £300k found in Stoke-on-Trent

Two men have been jailed after police busted a cannabis grow in Stoke-on-Trent with nearly £300,000 worth of plants inside.

Cao Khanh, 25, and Alfred Mustafa, 29, both of no fixed address, were arrested when local officers searched an address in Swan Square, Burslem, on 12 September last year.

More than 600 cannabis plants were found inside. If sold in deals, the total value of the drugs was estimated to be between £87,300 and £291,000.

The two men were jailed after more than 600 cannabis plants were found (Staffordshire Police).

Khanh was sentenced to 14-months imprisonment after he admitted being concerned in the production of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis and abstracting electricity.

Mustafa was jailed for one year after he admitted being concerned in the production of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.
