Detectives investigating the fire at the Crooked House pub in Staffordshire this month have arrested two men.

The Crooked House was set alight on Saturday 5 August and by 10 August, police were treating the incident as arson.

A 66-year-old man, from Dudley, and a 33-year-old man, from Milton Keynes, have been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.

Local residents have staged protests outside the site calling for the pub to be rebuilt (SWNS).
