Two arrests after £50k in cash and 'significant' amount of cannabis seized in Stoke-on-Trent

Two Stoke-on-Trent men have been arrested after police officers seized around £50,000 in cash and a "significant" amount of cannabis.
Officers searched five addresses in Longton and Bentilee today (Wednesday 3 June) as part of an investigation into the supply of drugs.
Staffordshire Police explained that around £50,000 in cash, a "significant amount" of cannabis and multiple mobile phones have been seized
Two men, both aged 47 and from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested on suspicion of acquiring / using / possessing criminal property.
They both remain in custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We are committed to breaking the cycle of drug misuse and ensuring a safer neighbourhood for all residents.
