The family of a 'loved and adored' teenager, who died following a crash in Stoke-on-Trent, have paid tribute to him.

Staffordshire Police was called to Anchor Road in Adderley Green following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike at 10.10am on Wednesday 5 August.

The 18-year-old rider of the motorbike, Oakley Shim, from Bucknall, was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a statement, Oakley's family said: "Our beautiful 'sonshine', you were loved and adored by every person you ever met, and your smile was the biggest in every room.

"There will only ever be one of you Oak, forever young and forever in our hearts.

"Catch you later Oakie Bear."

Staffordshire Police said Oakley's next of kin continue to be supported by specialist officers.
