TK Maxx has officially opened its new store at a Stoke-on-Trent retail park.
The retail giant officially opened the doors to its new two-floor store at Festival Retail Park at 10am today (Thursday 13 August).
Locals queued up ahead of the opening, which comes less than a week after TK Maxx closed its store on Market Square, Hanley on Sunday (9 August).
A spokesperson for TK Maxx said: "We are delighted to welcome Hanley shoppers to our brand-new home at Festival Retail Park
"We're excited to open our doors at 10am on the 13th August and continue bringing our customers an ever-changing selection of big brands, designer finds and homeware at the amazing prices they know and love.
"We look forward to welcoming the local community to our new store".
TK Maxx said that the relocation to the Festival Park unit - which was previously Argos - marks an "exciting new chapter" for the store in Hanley.
The unit has 18,747 sq ft of retail space which will be filled with a "constantly changing" mix of designer labels, fashion and homeware.
To celebrate the opening, customers who visit the store on launch day can take part in a treasure hunt to find 102 gift cards hidden across the store, with values ranging from £5 to £50.
