Three teenagers arrested after spate of damage on bonfire night in Stoke-on-Trent

Three boys have been arrested as part of an investigation into a spate of criminal damage in Stoke-on-Trent on bonfire night.

Officers were called to a number of areas in Snow Hill, Shelton, on 5 November.

Reports included a large group of masked youths deliberately causing damage to a number of vehicles and buildings.

The group smashed a window at the Hanley Masonic Hall and threw a firework inside which set fire.

Fire crews attended over 50 incidents in Stoke-on-Trent over the bonfire night weekend (Unsplash).

Fire crews were called to the scene and extinguished the blaze - no one was injured.

Three 16-year-old boys, from Stoke-on-Trent, have been arrested on suspicion of arson and criminal damage.

All have been questioned in custody and released under conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
