Third man charged after drugs seized in Stoke-on-Trent

A third man has been charged after drugs were seized in Stoke-on-Trent.
Staffordshire Police has confirmed that Stuart James Anderson, 31, of Meir, has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug – cocaine and heroin and two counts of conspiracy to supply a class B controlled drug – monkey dust and MDPHP.
The police force says it comes after a "large amount" of drugs were seized in Bentilee on Saturday (26 September).
Anderson is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Thursday 1 October).
Tom Chell, 32, of no fixed address, and Anthony Cornwell, 42, of Bentilee - who were charged with the same offences - appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre yesterday (Wednesday 30 September).
Both men have been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on Monday 2 November.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "We remain committed to tackling drug supply across Staffordshire and would urge anyone with concerns in their area to report them to us."
