Temporary traffic lights will be installed in a busy Stoke-on-Trent town centre this week.

National Grid will be carrying out 'remedial works' on Tunstall High Street between 13 and 17 June.

A spokesperson for National Grid said: "We are due to start repairs in Tunstall High Street on 13 June as a follow-on to work that was carried out previously.

"This will mean temporary traffic lights will be in place for up to five days.

"We're sorry for the inconvenience this will cause motorists and will be working hard to get the job done as quickly as possible to minimise disruption."
