Teenager taken to hospital following serious collision in Stoke-on-Trent

A teenager has been taken to hospital following a serious collision involving a car and cyclist in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police were called to Beverley Drive, Bentilee, just before 2.55pm yesterday (12 May).

The cyclist, aged 18, was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The driver of the Nissan Juke, a woman, remained at the scene and helped officers with their enquiries.

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition (West Midlands Ambulance Service).

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "If you have any information or dashcam footage that could help, please contact us on 101 quoting incident 411 of 12 May.
