Teenager 'punched in the face' following disorder inside Newcastle McDonalds branch

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a teenager was punched in the face following a disorder in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Police say the incident was reported at around 5.30pm on Sunday 14 April and the caller said about 25 young people were causing issues inside McDonalds on Dimsdale Parade West.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "The teenage victim, a 14-year-old boy, had been punched in the face. His injuries were not serious.

The caller said about 25 young people were causing issues inside McDonalds (Staffordshire Police).

"The group had left the area before officers got to the scene. They were seen running in the direction of Oldcastle Avenue.

"We're keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened or those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the area at the time.

"Call 101, quoting incident 584 of 14 April, or message us using Live Chat on our website."
