Teenager charged with attempted murder following stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent

A 19-year-old male has been charged following the stabbing of another man in Stoke-on-Trent this week.

Police were called to a field opposite Abbey Road, in Abbey Hulton, at 8.11pm on Monday (10 July) following reports that a man had been stabbed.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by paramedics where he remains in a stable but critical condition (Google).

Maksymilian Jagielski, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, was arrested and has since been charged with attempted murder.

He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (12 July).
