UPDATE: Stretch of A50 reopens following vehicle fire

A stretch of the A50 in Stoke-on-Trent has reopened after it was closed earlier today 'due to a vehicle fire'.
The A50 eastbound near Meir, between the slip roads at the Catchems Corner roundabout (A521) has reopened.
National Highways said: "There are no residual delays".
The closure was "due to a vehicle fire" and emergency services attended the scene.
National Highways said in a social media statement earlier today: "The A50 eastbound near Meir remains closed between the slip roads at Catchems Corner (A521) roundabout.
"The vehicle fire has resulted in an oil spill and damaged the carriageway."
