Stoke-on-Trent man jailed after two firearms found in company car
A man from Stoke-on-Trent has been jailed for five years after police found two firearms in a company car.
Levi Jones, 31, from Shelton, appeared at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court on 15 November after he admitted two counts of possessing a firearm and one count of possessing a firearm when prohibited for five years.
Last April, police searched a Skoda Octavia that had been recovered after it had been failed to be returned to a company. Officers found a black bag under the driver's seat with two firearms and ammunition inside.
A forensic analysis of the weapons led to a DNA hit on Jones, who was then arrested and charged with the offences.
