Stoke-on-Trent man arrested after blowing almost triple the legal limit

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after officers stopped a car in Stoke-on-Trent last night (8 January).

Police were called to Boundary Street, Hanley, at around 10.35pm following reports of an Audi A6 being driven dangerously.

The car was found to be uninsured and a breath test was carried out, where the driver blew a reading of 100. The legal limit is 35.

A 32-year-old man, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He remains in custody.
