Stoke-on-Trent Comedy Festival to return next month bringing 'top comedy talent' to the city

A number of comedy stars are heading to the city for the return of the Stoke-on-Trent Comedy Festival.
The festival, organised and directed by Me & Mrs Jones comedy, will bring nine comedy events to Stoke Town Hall between Friday 13 and Sunday 15 November.
Rachel Jones, from Me & Mrs Jones Comedy said: "We are so pleased to be bringing top comedy talent to our hometown for the third consecutive year of the Stoke-on-Trent Comedy Festival.
"We have hand-picked comedians who we know our audiences will enjoy. Thanks to everyone who attends our events and supports live comedy."
The line-up features a range of award-winning performers and rising stars from across the UK comedy scene including Adam Kay, the BAFTA-winning comedian and bestselling author of This Is Going to Hurt, and Clinton Baptiste, the hapless clairvoyant, medium and psychic from Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights.
Also appearing are Hannah Byczkowski, winner of BBC's The Traitors, and Fatiha El-Ghorri, whose recent TV appearances include Taskmaster and Channel 4's The Great Pottery Throw Down.
They'll be joined on the line up by:
- Comedy showcase in collaboration with Comedy Kiln
- Lou Conran - award winning comedian, writer and radio host
- Mick Miller - comedy legend who first came to fame on ITV's New Faces
- Hannah East – viral comedy sensation whose comedy reels have amassed millions of views
Co-owner Dave Twentyman also appears on the bill, supporting Clinton Baptiste fresh from a support slot with Jason Manford at The Regent Theatre.
