A care home based in Stoke-on-Trent has applied for permission from the council to extend their premises in Weston Coyney.

Weston House is a privately owned facility and currently has 33 single rooms.

The applicant, Mr Phil McVay, says the extension will form a new entrance as well as extra office space.

The walls of the new extension will match the existing white render walls and white upvc windows.

As of 13 July, only one consultee comment has been received - an Air Quality Officer from Stoke-on-Trent City Council raised no objections.

A decision is expected regarding these plans in the coming months.
