Stoke-on-Trent brewery, Titanic, has collaborated with Thornbridge Brewery to kick off their 2024 seasonal calendars with two new beers.

The first beer, Carpathia, is a 5.3% Extra Special Bitter that has been brewed at Titanic Brewery using the sweet and flavoursome Chevallier Heritage malt.

It will be available in cask from Titanic and Thornbridge pubs from mid-January, before being made available to other pubs at the end of the month.

The second beer, Britannic, is a 5.3% IPA that has been brewed at Thornbridge Brewery in Bakewell, Derbyshire.

Using a blend of Galaxy and Simcoe hops, this full-bodied India Pale Ale will be available in cask from early February. A limited amount of Britannic will also be available to buy in bottles directly from both breweries.

Both beers will be available in cask from Titanic and Thornbridge pubs from mid-January (Titanic).

Keith Bott, Director at Titanic Brewery, said: "Collaboration beers are a great example of the love and mutual respect that exists between breweries, and it's been a pleasure to work alongside Thornbridge to create two contrasting beers that celebrate just how diverse and varied the world of beer can be.

"Like Titanic, Thornbridge have always been at the forefront of innovation and the beers that the team at Thornbridge produce are always popular choices in our own pubs and café bars. We genuinely can't wait to see the reaction of our customers when they see the collaboration pump clips on the bar!!"

The two brewery's will be hosting a number of events and tasting to celebrate the collaboration (Titanic).

Simon Webster, CEO & Co-Founder of Thornbridge, said: "We have a lot of respect for the team at Titanic Brewery and the high quality of beer they produce.

"We have been very excited to create two brand new beers with them and look forward to seeing them being enjoyed in pubs around the country."

Carpathia and Britannic will be available to sample side-by-side at the Thornbridge and Titanic brewery bars that will be present at the Campaign For Real Ale's Great British Beer Festival Winter, taking place in Burton 15th – 17th February.

In addition to this, Thornbridge and Titanic will be hosting a number of events and tastings to celebrate the collaboration at their own pubs and venues throughout January and February.
