A woman from Staffordshire, charged with attempted murder following an incident in Alsager, has pleaded not guilty.

Katy Fryer, who was arrested on Saturday (30 May), appeared at Chester Crown Court on Monday (29 June).

The 45-year-old, of Albany Road, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, pleaded not guilty. The case is set for trial at Chester Crown Court on 23 November.
