Staffordshire Police appeal for information following house fire in Stoke yesterday

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information following a house fire in Stoke-on-Trent.

They were called to an address off Widecombe Road, Birches Head, at 6.45pm on Thursday (5 January).

Colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended.

On arrival, officers found a motorbike well-alight with the fire having spread to the external rear of the property.

The fire was extinguished by fire crews.

Thankfully, all persons were accounted for and no one was injured.

Inquiries are ongoing.
