A popular local business has been busy celebrating six months of trading in Stoke town centre.
Wilshaws, based on Kingsway, was opened on 13 November 2023 by former Stoke City manager, Lou Macari, and local councillor, Daniela Santoro.
Janet told Nub News: "We've had a brilliant six months, it's been fabulous.
"We've had many customers, new and old, and they're fantastic, super supportive and we absolutely adore them.
"We would also like to welcome our new Lord Mayor, Cllr Lyn Sharpe. She's one of our customers and she's lovely, we wish her all the best."
Steve added: "We would also just like to thank all the local tradespeople who have supported us over the last six months".
Since opening, the couple have completed a huge range of impressive repairs, earning them a large amount of five-star reviews.
One happy customer wrote: "This shop really knows what they're doing when it comes to cutting keys! They charge £4.50 for normal keys, you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality.
"More importantly, the people here are not only skilled but also incredibly kind-hearted. It's refreshing to encounter such friendly service. I highly recommend visiting if you need key services and appreciate a good-hearted team!"
Another wrote: "The personal touch and welcome received cannot be found elsewhere. The service provided is faultless and will certainly be the number one place for us."
Wilshaws now offers a huge range of services, including:
- Key cutting
- Engraving
- Shoe repairs
- Vehicle locksmithing
- Automotive key cutting and coding for all vehicles
- Any leather or canvas repairs
- Zip replacements
Wilshaws is open 9am-4.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 9.30am-3pm on Saturdays.
