Here are our top picks for the coming days:

Microcar Rally

A microcar rally will take place in Hanley on Friday 23 August (The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery).

A microcar rally will be taking place at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery on Friday 23 August between 11am and 3pm.

The event is completely free and a range of microcars will be on display by members of a local club.

More popular makes include Reliant, Bond, Isetta and Messerschmitt.

Charity fundraiser at The Saracens Head

The Saracens Head will be raising money for Headcases this weekend (Headcases).

A popular Stoke-on-Trent pub is set to host a family fun day this weekend, all in aid of a local charity.

The Saracens Head, in Meir, is aiming to raise funds for Headcases Staffordshire, which supports people with, or recovering from, head and neck cancer.

There will be raffles, charity bingo, play your cards right, a BBQ and bouncy castle (weather depending) and artisan craft stalls.

Castle Artisan Bank Holiday Bash

Castle Artisan Market will be hosting a bank holiday bash on 26 August (Castle Artisan).

To celebrate the final bank holiday of the summer, the team behind the triple award-winning Castle Artisan Market held in Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre has organised a 'Big Bank Holiday Bash' in collaboration with Newcastle-under-Lyme BID to be held on The Stones on Monday 26th August between 10am and 3pm.

Featuring stalls filled by local makers, bakers and creators showcasing the talents of local artisans, free activities including, free face painting and circus skills workshop for children and the meandering musings of beloved storyteller Alan Barrett, this family-friendly event seeks to attract visitors to the town and act of a platform to showcase the creativity of its traders and entertainers.

Don't forget you can advertise your event for FREE on our 'What's On' page by clicking the black 'Nub It' button.

If it wasn't for our sponsors like Bros Distillery and Powerleague, our what's on section and news site would not be possible. Thank you.
