A Staffordshire college group will be welcoming prospective learners and their families to all three college campuses in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Stafford and Leek for the first open events of the academic year.

Students looking to apply with Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) for September 2027 will be able to discover a range of subject areas, get to know staff and explore the campuses.

The open events will take place on the following dates:

• Newcastle College: Thursday 8th October 5.30pm–8pm
• Stafford College: Thursday 22nd October 5.30pm–8pm
• Leek College: Wednesday 4th November 5.00pm–7:00pm

The open events offer prospective learners an opportunity to speak to current students, getting the 'inside scoop' on the application process and studying with NSCG before attending subject-specific talks and demonstrations.

NSCG's principal Craig Hodgson will be delivering a welcome talk at each event, and guests will also be able to hear from the college's student support team to find out what life is like at NSCG.

College staff will be on hand throughout the events to offer information, advice and guidance to prospective students, helping them to weigh up their options and find the perfect pathway.

At NSCG, learners can study every type of post-16 qualification, including A Levels, T Levels, a full range of Vocational courses and apprenticeships.

Higher Education and part-time adult learning courses are also available in wide range of subject areas.

Newcastle

• Wednesday 11th November 5.30pm–8pm
• Saturday 23rd January 10am–12noon
• Saturday 24th April 10am – 12noon

Stafford

• Wednesday 25th November 5.30pm–8pm
• Saturday 6th February 10am–12noon
• Saturday 8th May 10am–12noon

Leek

• Saturday 20th March 10am–12noon
• Saturday 19th June 10am–12noon
