Little Seeds is a fine-dining restaurant based in the heart of Stone which serves a range of seasonal, tasty and refined dishes.

The restaurant opened on Radford Street in June 2016, after owners Jake and Sophie decided to open a business "where we ourselves would like to dine".

Sophie explained: "We initially opened as a casual restaurant, but around 2019 we moved more towards the fine-dining style.

"We'd slowly made the menus more refined and guests were really enjoying it so that's what we stuck with, it was a gradual evolution of the business for us".

Little Seeds offers a popular A la Carte menu which Sophie says "is a traditional three-course menu which is all seasonal British food".

From this, Sophie and Jake created a Tasting menu, with Jake's own herb garden taking centre stage.

Sophie continued: "We take our favourites from the A la Carte menu and refine them into smaller courses.

Owners Jake and Sophie set out to create a restaurant where they would like to dine themselves (Little Seeds).

"Jake grows our own herbs in the garden so each dish on the menu has a key herb running through it.

"Our food is locally sourced where possible but we also focus on quality as well - it's all about being ethically sourced and we only work with people who share the same ethos as us.

"We see this experience as about good food but also being accessible and comfortable. Food doesn't need to be inaccessible, everyone deserves good food!"

The restaurant also has two stunning terraces outside where people are more than welcome to sit and enjoy one of Little Seeds' cocktails, wines, beers or soft-drinks.

There is also a popular private dining room upstairs which is available to book at no additional charge - perfect for celebrating any occasion!

Sophie said: "The private dining area is really popular especially for birthdays and anniversaries. You get your own server, can have your own music on and decorate how you like, so people can really make the experience their own".

Sophie and Jake's dedication to exceptional, refined, seasonal food has earned them almost 200 five-star reviews.

For example, one customer recently wrote: "We visited Little Seeds in between Christmas and new year and had a super meal. Such high quality food is a real treat - thank you."

Another happy customer said: "We hadn't been to Little Seeds for a while, we know now that we've been missing out. The food was exceptional in every way, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Service was great, very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. We've been visiting Little Seeds since they first opened and it gets better and better, we think it's right up there with the best restaurants we've visited and best food we've ever eaten."

Little Seeds is open Wednesday and Thursday 6pm-11pm and Friday and Saturday 12pm-3pm and 6pm-11pm.
