Two Staffordshire radio presenters are set to release a 1970s-themed Christmas single to raise money for Dougie Mac.
Local radio presenters, Glyn Gant, from Leek, and Steve Lewis, from Market Drayton, known as Pick & Mix, are set to release their Christmas single, 'Christmas Ain't the Same Without Woolworths' this Friday (14 November).
All of the money raised from the single will be donated to the Blurton-based hospice Douglas Macmillan and a JustGiving page has been set up to supplement the funds raised from streams.
Glyn and Steve, who co-host The Saturday Show on Crewe-based community station, The Cat, wanted to create a fun and nostalgic Christmas song.
The song hopes to bring back memories of pick 'n' mix, retro games and Christmas shopping at Woolworths.

Steve said: "The heyday for Christmas songs in this country was the 70s and 80s, but they don't seem to be made a lot anymore.
"This song is a chance for people to relive nostalgia, not only through the song itself but by remembering all those Christmas songs of their youth."
Glyn added: "I love a good novelty song but you don't hear good fun Christmas songs very often.
"This song is a good bit of fun, it's a bit of an earworm and ultimately it's for an amazing cause.
"Hopefully we will put smile on people's faces and raise some money as well."

The pair chose to support Dougie Mac after the team cared for Glyn's sister-in-law, Sam Gant who died after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Glyn said: "When my sister-in-law was diagnosed with terminal cancer it was such a shock.
"She received care from Dougie Mac who were absolutely superb and helped my brother too. The whole family visited Sam in the hospice and even the family dog came to visit.
"We were all so in awe of the care my sister-in-law received and it is such a fantastic cause so that's why we have decided donate all the proceeds to Dougie Mac."
It was also important for Steve to support a hospice after his brother died in St Giles Hospice in Lichfield.
Steve said: "I think that it's important to highlight the difficulties of hospices in the UK.
"I haven't got any personal experience with Dougie Mac but my brother died in St Giles a few years ago so anything we can do to help generate money for hospices is very important."

Glyn and Steve wrote the lyrics around 10 years ago with Glyn's wife Julie Gant but only recorded it this year after Staffordshire Moorlands studio owner Lee Platt offered to produce the song.
Glyn said: "I'm so chuffed this has finally happened after all these years. We couldn't have done it without Lee.
"Lee is really the talent behind it all and he helped us put it all together."
Alongside Glyn and Steve, the song features Glyn's wife Julie on vocals and his son Dan Gant on guitar.
The accompanying music video, which will be released on YouTube on Friday, was filmed partly in the recording studio and partly at Heaton House Farm in Cheshire where Glyn and Julie got married.
Christmas Ain't the Same Without Woolworths will be released on streaming platforms on Friday 14 November.
