By Sarah Garner   12th Jun 2023

Hundreds of runners took to the streets of Stoke-on-Trent yesterday as they took part in Stoke's iconic half marathon - The Potters 'Arf.

The 13.1 mile race began on Huntbach Street and the route went through Shelton, Fenton, Adderley Green, Bentilee, Bucknall, Milton and Sneyd Green before finishing in Hanley town centre.

Walkers set off at 8.30am, runners at 10am and juniors at 10.20am.

Carl Moulton, of Boalloy Running Club, won the race with an astonishing time of 1.15.23.

Carl also won the race in 2022 with a time of 1.12.51 and came second the year before.

Only ten minutes later, Emma Taylor was crowned as the female winner with a time of 1.22.30.
