A Post Office in Stoke-on-Trent will be closed for over two weeks while the store undergoes a refurbishment.

The Weston Coyney Post Office, currently inside the premises of Bargain Booze on Weston Road, will be closed until Saturday 7 June while the shop undergoes a refurbishment.

When the branch reopens it will be a One Stop franchise store with the same post master as before.

Karl Haddon, Post Office Partner Account Manager, said: "We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.

"The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it is necessary for the service to close temporarily."

Customers are encouraged to use the Meir Post Office at Premier on Weston Road or the Caverswall Post Office at Premier on School Lane in Caverswall.
