A popular cafe and bar in Stoke-on-Trent is celebrating its fifth birthday this month.

Bod Stoke, based at Stoke-on-Trent Train Station, opened in October 2018 having taken over the former Virgin First Class Lounge.

To mark the occasion, Titanic Brewery is offering customers double loyalty points on any Titanic beer or gin.

This fantastic offer will be redeemable today (13 October) and tomorrow (14 October).

Bod Stoke's fifth birthday also coincides with the release of this year's Grand Reserve - a popular 6.5% version of Titanic's best selling Plum Porter.

The occasion also coincides with the release of this year's batch of Plum Porter Grand Reserve and Cherry Porter Grand Reserve (Titanic Brewery).

Titanic Brewery has opened eight bod cafe bars in just five years, two of which are in Stoke-on-Trent.

David Glenwright, Head of Marketing at Titanic Brewery, told Stoke Nub News: "The bod concept came about when Keith and Dave [the owners of Titanic Brewery] were looking at our pubs and noticed they only served the community from mid-afternoon onwards so there's all that time in the morning where the pub isn't open to the community.

"What they wanted to do was create a space that could serve the community from first thing in the morning - they wanted a space that was there for people whether it was 9am or 9pm."

The bod's all have a cafe side which serves locally roasted coffee and locally produced food, as well as a bar side which serves a whole range of Titanic products and a few guest beers.

Every bod has a cafe side as well as a bar side meaning there is something for everyone (Titanic Brewery).

David continued: "Introducing the bod cafe bars was a natural progression of the ethos of what Titanic is all about and the concept has been received really well - people love coming here and our events are always extremely busy.

"We have community notice boards in every bod where people can put things up for free - we have a huge focus on that, we want these places to be hubs of the local community."

If it wasn't for our sponsors like Titanic Brewery, our news site would not be possible - Thank you.
