The Potteries Centre will be hosting its second Comic Con next month following the success of the first event in July.

The event will take place on 14 and 15 October, from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sunday.

Throughout the weekend, the event will see a top-secret guest appearance, Star Wars props galore, Ezekiel's real throne featured in the Walking Dead series, Monsters Inc door, Dobby and even more special surprises to be revealed on the day.

With fan favourite characters returning such as Mario, Sonic, Pikachu and Stormtroopers, this event will also see new additions such as the Death Eaters from Harry Potter, Billy the puppet from the Saw franchise, and many more.

With an array of superheroes and movie characters roaming throughout the centre, regular meet and greet opportunities will be available throughout the free event.

The Comic Con event will also include its renowned stalls where visitors can buy must-have toys, collectables, action figures, art, retro games and tabletop games. Going bigger and better, there are even more traders available where attendees can find new and exciting offerings from independent speciality traders.

Regular meet and greet opportunities will be available throughout the weekend (Nub News).

Steven Howard, Event Organiser, said: "This year's Comic Con at the Potteries promises to be bigger that ever! We're so excited to be back this October with another free event that's even more impressive than the last. We had so much fun at the last event that we wanted to make it even more special by seeking out some of the biggest and best new additions to bring even more favourite characters and memorabilia to Stoke on Trent. We can't wait to see you all there for this truly spectacular weekend."

Amy Whittaker, Centre Manager at The Potteries Centre, adds: "It's great to have Comic Con back at The Potteries Centre yet again. It was such a great atmosphere last time that we couldn't resist hosting another event for our wonderful comic-fan visitors. This time we've also got some great retailer discounts and offers available from the likes of HMV, Jack & Jones, Game, Schuh and more. Don't miss out!"
