Security officer racially abused at Stoke-on-Trent supermarket

Staffordshire Police are investigating following a hate crime at a supermarket in Stoke-on-Trent on New Year's Day.

At around 10am on Monday 1 January, a security officer was racially abused inside Morrisons on Ridgeway Drive.

A spokesperson said: "We are continuing to review CCTV footage as part of our ongoing enquiries to identify those involved."

Police released CCTV footage of three men they would like to speak to earlier today; two of the men have now been identified by police.
