Police launch appeal after bus driver assaulted in Stoke-on-Trent

Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a bus driver was assaulted in Stoke-on-Trent last month.

At around 3pm on Tuesday 30 April, a bus driver was assaulted on Quadrant Road, Hanley, by a woman who was refused entry onto the bus.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "The victim was pushed to the ground and assaulted, leading to bruising and cuts to her face.

"The suspect is described as black and was about 40-years-old.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or has any information (Staffordshire Police).

"We want to speak to anyone who saw what happened or those who might have information that can help with enquiries.

"Call 101 quoting incident number 387 of 30 April, or message us using Live Chat on our website.
