Police dogs brought in after vehicle fails to stop on Stoke-on-Trent street

A vehicle failed to stop in Meir in the early hours of yesterday morning (Staffs RCT).
A vehicle failed to stop in Meir in the early hours of yesterday morning (Staffs RCT).

A police dog was used to search the area after a vehicle failed to stop in Meir in the early hours of yesterday morning (9 January).

Staffs RCT say after the vehicle failed to stop, the car was abandoned and the occupants fled on foot.

The vehicle has been seized and enquiries to find the driver are underway.

Stoke Nub News has approached Staffordshire Police for a statement.
