Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a man suffered multiple injuries following a collision in Longton earlier this month.

Between 6pm and 6.05pm on Friday 9 December, a man came into collision with a black Kia on Trentham Road in Longton.

He was knocked to the floor and the driver originally got out of the car and checked on the pedestrian.

The driver shortly got back into his car and drove away without providing any details.

The pedestrian, a man in his late teens, suffered injuries to his elbow, shoulder, neck and legs.

He did not require medical attention and managed to leave the area on foot.

The incident was reported to police on Sunday 11 December and they have been making inquiries into the collision.

The driver of the Kia is described as white, around 5ft 11in tall, roughly in his 60s and was wearing glasses at the time.

Police are appealing to anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to get in touch.

Contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101 quoting incident 332 of 11 December.
